From Nanobits
January 2007- Nanobits attends INFORMEX, establishing key relationships in the Pharmaceutical industry.
February 2007- Sreeni Sreenivassan joins the Nanobits team as business development adviser. Sreeni was at Synthetech Inc. for 15 years with his last years as CEO.
March 8 2007- Nanobits in collaboration with Oregon State University is awarded ONAMI GAP fund grant for the development of a microreactor ozonolysis system capable of producing two kilos of product in one week’s time.
July 17-19th 2007- Nanobits attends Semicon West developing relationships with leaders in the semiconductor industry.
August 18th 2007- Nanobits receives Phase II ONAMI GAP fund grant. The collaboration with Oregon State University, the Microproducts Breakthrough Institute, Nanobits and Synthetech has proven fruitful and has been funded by ONAMI for the second phase of this project. Microreactor ozonolysis has generated a significant amount of interest within the specialty chemical/ pharmaceutical industry for its ability to safely and cleanly provide oxidative cleavage of double bonds in organic compounds.
August 19-23rd 2007- Nanobits attends the 234th ACS national meeting and exposition. Nanobits was there as a part of the cutting edge of chemists looking a creative ways to solve the chemicals industry using breakthrough technology to deliver new areas of opportunity.
